Seeds of Hope gets jump start on Halloween
BISMARCK, N.D. — Halloween may be three months away but that doesn't mean people have to wait to go shopping for their costumes.

The Seeds of Hope Thrift Store has opened its Halloween shop in the lower level of the store.

"There's costumes, accessories, wigs, kids, women's and men's costumes, all sizes all ages. Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations, just fall in general, yard

ornaments, anything and everything," store manager Lisa Ternes said.

Seeds of Hope is owned and operated by the Abused Adult Resource Center and all the proceeds go to women and children affected by domestic violence.

"You're saving money and giving back to the munity by supporting the AARC," assistant manager Dorinda Eckroth said. "It's such a good bargain place to e."

It is the 10th year opening the Halloween store and the shop seems to just keep growing.

"Every year it just keeps getting bigger and better. We keep getting more stuff, its getting nicer, so every year is different," Ternes said.

Seeds of Hope is in downtown Bismarck at 520 E. Main Ave.

Ternes and Eckroth said they really enjoy the location because of all the different people who e into the store and all the events that happen downtown help.

The Halloween shop will be open until early October. Then Seeds of Hope starts setting up its Christmas shop.
